Ok, the technical dept on interchange FAQ section states the 231 rods can be swapped to the 225 crank. Given the different journal dia. how is that???:?:?
I am in the process of building up a 231 OF and the stronger rods from the 231 are..well... stronger so Id like to use them if possible.

What are you doing to need the stronger rods of a 231? Supercharger? Turbocharger?
Stock 225 rods are quite strong unless going to one of the above. In that case I'd suggest some H-beam rods anyway.
    More info needed here....

If you recall, I have a cracked 225 block but the crank is OF but std. std and clean. I couldn't find a good block close enough so I found a 1980 block but the crank is bad. ........Now the picture is clear, I hope and you can see my quandry. Id like to use the better rods because I have them but the OF crank with the 2.0in throws wont directly swap to the 2.25 of the EF. The tech section states that the later rods can be used/fitted. Just wondering what I didn't know.
This is a mild Jeep build. Late model stock heads, Edelbrock intake, 2100 carb(for now), .030 over cast pistons, comp cams 252 or 260 cam, outside the frame Headmans. All refreshed. Comments accepted.
