    T90
    T18
    only Jeep transmissions with no synchro low gear
    anything 72 and later, other than the T18, would be full synchro
    T14, T15, T150 would all be full synchro
    what trans do you have?
    rear AMC 20 is 2 piece from that era

    Haven't bothered to look at the trans yet. I figured it'd be a T14 w/ the :v6: since the VIN indicates it's an original :v6: Jeep from '71, but since it's not synched...

    Rear axle is a 44.

    I'm splitting this thread so we don't hijack. :D

    Johnny Cash Jeep I'm thinkin. Guess I could ask Oakes what trans is in it. He did rebuild the tfer w/ Boyink last winter.

    pre-'70, '71, '76, '82+ so far. ;)

    T14 = 1302xxxx
    T90 = 1318xxxx
