Has anyone tried this? I finally got around to trying it yesterday. It's too cool! I've been cleaning M38A1 parts almost nonstop since Monday morning. I'm having too much fun with this.... I think I might be losing my mind!

Worked for me, as Sparky pointed out. Just get a copper, or similar, brush to clean up the grime after you treat them in the pot. Then clean up the parts with brake cleaner, parts washer, etc. to get rid of the water and make them shine.

I know what you mean mruta, it's addictive once you start watching the pot boil. I kinda want to throw some detergent in a pond during a lightning storm and drive my whole JEEP in it. ;)
