Started my stock v6 today, ( about 25' F) and I heard a light ticking which I believe to be a lifter on the drivers side. Never heard it before. Never started it this cold before either. Is this a cold weather problem or just coincidence? What would be a recommened fix? thanks

Perfectly normal for an engine with some miles on it. My 6.0 chevy does this until it get s about 10 miles on it in the AM, ad all the message boards tell me to put a qt. of Marvel Mystery Oil in it when it is down a qt. I've used this before and it really does work!

Another vote for MMO. I substitute a qt of MMO at every oil change.
