I think I have a deal on this 65' with the 4.... t-90 , d-18 , d27 & d44 with 5.38.... no title but body looks to be better than mine , I want the axles for the gears, looks like it has a twin sticked d-18 , has a hard top of some kind... don't know if it was made that way or not... brakes and clutch don't work and I will not get the plow set-up.... sound like a good deal for $300..... I basically want the body , d-18 and axles for mine.. maybe the top..... then part out the rest that I don't use on mine....[IMG]

If the body is solid, that's worth, say, twice the purchase price. It'd be an easy decision for me.

Hardtop looks like a cut-up Meyer. If the side panels are 20" long, I'd guess it was originally for a CJ-6.

Better check and see what the laws are regarding the VIN tag if it doesn't have a title. Swapping the tub could get messy. The tag goes with the portion of the body it's assigned to in KS at least so if the tub has no title for the VIN=no registration.

Yup, just suggesting that you know what you're getting yourself into, or are comfortable with what you might be getting into.

Hec just bring it on down to Ga, they'll fix you up with registration without a title as long as it's pre-64. :stout: R)

Talked to the guy on the phone a little while ago..... gonna pass on it..... the tub is in no better shape than mine.. the pics just don't show it he said.....floor boards are gone... my driveline is good , just the tub is shot , i might pick up the axles and the d-18 from him after the beg. of the year if he doesn't get rid of the whole JEEP till then. I don't know how the :v6: and 5.38's will be on the road without O/D though... might be rough on the :v6:

    I wouldn't think it'd be as rough on a :v6: as an L or F-head w/ an OD.
