New Top Delay

    Broke out the instructions on my Bestop and started reading. Got to first page and that was it...lol. Top to be installed in 70* temp. Ok the old merc has been below freezing for days. I could lite all my wood stoves in the garage and still not make 70. So off to a place in SLC called Sugarhouse awning..(They made my boat cover) . Should be done today inside their heated shop. Always something.

    That 70* is important too. Actually around 80* is better. The warmer it is the more pliable the top.

    I brought mine inside the house for a few days to warm up prior to installing. Got all the hardware installed and ready for the top. Then just sorta "ran" out the door with it, and slapped it on. Worked out fine. Sure - when the summer came, I could tighten it a couple clicks, but it was fine for the time-being.
