    Hi All,
I just returned from a few hours of wheeling and pulled a total bonehead move on the way home. I drove about 45-50 miles with my Jeep in 4wheel high, hubs unlocked @ 60mph. What should my biggest concerns be? I think I will have to replace the pinion seal but I am plannng to install a power lock this winter anyway, any other concerns there. What about the t-case??

Any help or input would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I did the same thing about 2 years ago, so far I have not had any problems. I had a strange vibration while I was driving that should have told me to stop and check things over but I drove on fat dumb and happy as they say.:) Mike

You should be OK. I used to drive my CJ7 with the hubs locked in on snowy days and just put the transfer case in when needed. I had that Jeep over 100k and never had a problem with the front diff or the TC.

Your fine. The only time you need to worry is if everything is locked.

do not worry for even a minute. Even if the hubs were locked I wouldn't worry.

Thanks everyone I feel a lot better now. I figured I was going to have to rebuild the whole t-case and front diff. I really appreciate all of the response!
