V-8 Exaust manifold w/air pump

I have a set of 304 exhaust manifolds for the CJ (i.e. correct driver side) to put on my 360 when it's ready. I'm wondering if the air injection ports will matter as long as I plug them up? I'm not putting on an air pump on the 360.

I also broke off a couple of the bolts that hold on the air hose/pipe to the manifold and I am having a heck of a time trying to get them out with a "easy out" tool. I soaked them in Kroil, and even put heat on it, and they are stuck good. Any suggestions here too?

Heat them up and put a candle on the bolt, I tried it for the first time last weekend and now I am a believer. Use your EZout like normal after that.

 

Candle? Could you expound on this please.. I'm always wanting to learn new tricks to get stuck (broke off) bolts out of things.. cheers, Jim

 

Norm, I broke some of those same bolts off to. I used a nut and hit it with the welder. Came right out. Walt

 

edit, wish we were closer, I have a set of 360 manifolds I,d trade you. Air holes already sealed shut,

 

I'll try the candle trick and give it a try...one more thing...do Vanilla candles work okay or should I use Cinnamon

Worse comes to worse, I may have to put a bolt on and weld it.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll work it some more this weekend. I figure a couple more days with Kroil soaking in shouldn't hurt.
