I have a new Beachwood winter enclosure for my M38A-1. The jeep is currently in storage not running..But I now have a 1960 cj5. Has anyone ever tried the military roof on civilian top bows? Beachwood said they wouldn't interchange, but from what I remember (roof is currently packed away) the top bow of the M38A-1 seem to be close to the same area as the civilian top bows. Any one ever try this?

I looked at that site and it looks like they are using the military bow. What I am wondering is how far off are the original cj5 bows that fit in the pockets, has anyone tried it with these? If it won't work, I will soon have a complete beachwood winter encloser for sale, excellent condition with or without bracketry, if anyone is interested.
