boy ive spent alot of time and money but im done with my jeep.[for now]
iv built a v8 got adapters and made a chevy 10inch clutch fit the tranny.ive rebuilt the brakes front to back, then got a better idea. i put haging pedals out of an old dirt track car and mounted a master cylinder on the fire wall.ive made floor pan hell i had to practiclly build the hole fire wall cause the po hacked it so bad.i got the top on and the daul exaust on last night.the i had to wire the hole thing up.oh yeafor all of you who live where it gets cold.i needed a heater and my wallet was almost empty so i thiought one night after looking at those expensive mohave heaters i needed one but cheap. so i thought about the bunk or sleeper heater in a semi. just hapened to have a buddy the rolled his truck i robbed the heater its all self contained it wont fit under the dash so i put it in the back behind the drivers seat.last night it was like 40 and that thing would heat the inside up so hot that you needed to crack the windows.its great i bet you can get one for nothing in a junk yard
one thing is the stupid brakes aint worth a crap can i put disc braks off chevy truck on there or is that impossible?igot 35 inch tires and i think i need better brakes so if any one has done that can you please shed some light on this for me ? thanks for all the info you given me so far esspesily with the sterring swap man that was a big help that ol jeep steers like a dream.,,,,jared
