There's lots of advise on getting the bushing out in other threads - try a search on bushing. I used a hack saw and cut it in 2 places then a small chisel to smack it out. It takes some serious effort.

BTW - Speedy looks great with the lift - missed commenting in the other thread. :D

Best tip I can give anyone when doing this is...

Spend the money on an air chisel. I worked on the driver side for over an hour last night with a hacksaw and hammer / chisel. Bought a cheapo air chisel at TSC ($30.00) and it literally took seconds to remove.

    Live and learn, I guess...

Glad you didn't resort to swapping out the whole spring perch.

Picked up a Campbell Hausfeld $15 air chisel on Sunday. Knocked that stubborn bushing out in about 5 secs. Money well spent.

WOW - I would have never thought an air chisel would work well on these things. I've always used the hacksaw method. Boy - that's a lot of labor!!!!

Good to know for the future...

Kudos on the $15 find! Even the $30 I spent was one of the best investments I've ever made ;)

I used the hacksaw. I eventually figured out to drill or melt out the rubber portion of the bushing, then insert the hacksaw blade through the opening, then reassemble the blade to the hacksaw frame and made 2 cuts. After the cuts, it pried out easily.
I eventually got the last one out with only 5 minutes of effort. :)
    The first one...

Hmmm, air chisel... gotta put one on my list :D
