I installed a HeaterCraft unit about a month ago in my Jeep. It didn't have any heater in it anymore. I am pleased with my setup. I installed it down where the glove box would have gone.

The HeaterCraft unit does not have a fresh air intake, just takes air from the cab. Two vents are on top. One goes to the defroster while the second uses a remote vent. As it comes from the factory, the fan is either on or off and I can't controll the air flow direction.

I have used magnets in the remote vent so I can place it where I want to. It has been sitting right in front of the stick shifts. I like the unit, so far it keeps things warm.

FWIW...I just got the 2-duct Heater Craft units I snagged off eBay...I was out in the garage test fitting it.

Looks like I can push it up under the dash sideways, with the outlets vertically stacked and facing the driver, right next to the glovebox. Just the bottom 1" or so of the box part will be visible, and it puts the water connections on the bottom pointing out towards the passenger side.
