Any of you guys out there have a Pro Comp lift in your CJ? I just ordered a 2 1/2" lift from them, great deal $370 with shocks (ES3000) and all the hardware. That includes shipping. I hope to hear some positive feedback, but then again I should have asked you guys before I ordered.

I'm on my 2nd one. The PO put one on himself, it was only 6 mo. old when I bought the Jeep, but it was the wrong kit !! The 1st spring did not go around the schackles, just the 2nd mil. wrap. This allowed both axles to move about 3/4" back and forth on both sides. Looked like a drunken sailor going down the road.

I had the correct one installed, everything new. Love it. Ride is good once it gets broken in (a week or so). If you use lube schackles, be sure to lube them with silicone grease--makes a big difference.

I picked up a used 2.5" pro comp lift (less then a year old) for $150.00

I bought some lift shackles and new ubolts. I am running 33's with no problem. The ride is VERY stiff! I have not had a chance to flex it out too much yet, but I've been really romping on the 360 in the snow with little to no wheel hop or bouncing.

I've had my Pro-Comp 2.5 springs on now for 9 yrs. without any problems, except I run the 1 in longer Con-Ferr shackles and the main wrap-over spring rubs the center stiffner on the shackle. It eventually wore a groove and is fine now, but it was never an issue. I run 33's and lockers and it's seen it's share of rocks and frame twists here in CA. I'm as happy as can be with them and you can't beat the price.

    PINK ones. R)

My only issue so to speak was they didn't flex enough for the type trails we run.
    They are good springs though.
Probably for 95% of the Jeeps they are fine.
