old style tailgate decals

    hey all,
    Im currently restoring an older cj5 w/older tailgate with the embosed JEEP I'm looking for stickers/decals which match up to the older font, the only Jeep font I've been able to find is the newer font found on the cj7 's of today. Can anyone give me some direction?

    Yea, I kind of gave up looking. Sorry about that Sparky. The leads
    dried up. I was actually thinking of painting them on!!! Or getting the
    material and cut my own out.

    I painted them on SSDutch..(crappy paint job, nothing to lose...;)

    They look good from ~10 fit.

    Doesn't help Sparky tho...;)

    I have a bro-in-law that has a sign / custom lettering business. I don't want to volunteer him w/o asking but, he mentioned to me that he'd be more than happy to help out with some of the harder to get decals, etc for a fair price.

    Let me know if you're interested and what you're looking for and I'll give him a shout.

    They were painted originally. The body man I used to work with used a roller.

    I can cut them in any color. I'm sure I have some black vinyl. $5.00 a pair sound good?

    "Jeep" on cowl & t/gate. On the cowl, the J is 2" tall, on the t/gate it is 2& 1/2" tall. I need them in white if anyone has them.
