I have a complete 66 cj with the V6 but the frame is a little rough by the rear spring hangers. I bought a complete 62 rolling chassis but someone tried to make their own V6 mounts and didn't do a very good job, but other wise in nice shape. I also have a late model dj5 and the frame is cherry. I was told the frame would work for my 66cj with a few mods. What way would you guys go on this? I either fix my frame(may be a weak point) or deal with motor mounts and other mods on the other two.

The DJ frame is probably the least fatigued, if you are willing to part out the DJ. Breaks around the spring hangers are common on CJs.

Whatever you do, I expect you'll have to weld some, so you might as well take the path that leaves you with the largest number of good parts remaining.

How about a complete '71 CJ-5 V-6 frame in excellent shape? If interested, let me know...
