Dauntless 1967 CJ5

I currently have headers and two exhaust pipes that exit at the rear of the jeep. There are holes in the exhaust where the headers meet the exhaust pipes. I took it to a shop to have it repaired, and they said that they can't weld it because of the rust. The shop also said I need to replace the headers and exhaust.

What is the smartest way to set this up? Manifolds, headers, etc. I'm not racing, wheeling, or anything exotic. Dirt roads, mountain trails, and ice cream cones is all I'm doing. Money is a factor.

manifolds from a 231 or 252 then run your exhaust like you want.
