tuning carb questions... 258 1 bbl.

just got a 73 with a rebuilt carb 1bbl. i think it needs some tuning because it has a off idle flat spot it happens cold and less when warm but it still does it. are the acelerator pumps on these carbs adjustable? it seems like it is starving for fuel..

 

from what you describe, it sounds like accel pump to me
no accel pump adjustment for the YF
you can adjust the metering rod though
if you have a FSM, it's very detailed about the adjustment
being this is a rebuilt carb, who knows what you'll find inside

thanks for the tips.. i just found a TSM in the tool box under the seat. i will finish it up this weekend.
