What size tube

    So, hypothetically, lets say I were making a tube frame. What size tubing should I use?

    Like rectangular tubing? I'd think roughly the same cross section as your original frame.

    2x4x.120 wall for rectangle

    1.75x.120 wall for tube

    2" would work too. I'd want to keep it as light as possible for more speed :twisted:

    I don't know, these days 2" just looks too big. I'd go 1.75" on main structure parts with smaller tubes for braces and mounts and such.
