I swapped in the dana 20 a while back. the old speedo cable does not reach in the location it is in. I swear that i saw the length of cables in the catalogs as being the same for intermediate and early CJs. What did you guys do for a speedo cable? were you able to reuse the old one some how or did you go for a differnt model jeep. If so, what model jeep did you use.

here are some Jeep numbers and their lengths
mostly 4 speeds used the longer cables
    most popular/commonly used is 60"
maybe the catalogs will use the same numbers

    5351775 64 1/2 " long (cable and core)
    5351777 69" long " " "
    5351778 60" long " " "

    Dan,
I went to a local shop and had one made. The just charged by the foot and for the fittings on the ends. Low $. They made it while I waited - took about 5 minutes. It was a truck supply place.
