How to lock hubs

    I have the locking hubs with two levers that flip around to lock. If the wheels are off the ground they lock easily but on the ground they just don't lock.
    Is there a secret I'm missing? Seems like a pain to jack up a wheel to lock hubs.

    rock the tire when you lock it. it is binding up.

    Also make sure you dont have the tcase in 4wd while you're locking them, that made a world of difference on mine.

    Yes the old 10 spline axles these jeeps run don't always line up, you gotta rock the jeep a little as you turn the dial (or lever...) the fine spline axles on newer jeeps have a greater chance of lining up right....
