I finally got around to pulling the wheels (new tires time) and I have 10 inch brakes. How do they work or should I still consider 11's?

I would start with a search of the forum. Prolly nothing new to be added that isn't already in the past discussions.

I had 10's all around and they were ample sufficient to stop my flattie w/31's. However, I've since converted to front disk because -

    - could never get rid of the pulling side to side with drums
    - problems when wet (coulda been resolved by drilling drums?)
    - I went to bigger tires and wanted to be sure
    - I got the disk setup cheap

I still have the 10" drums in the rear.

I also still have my 10" drums in the rear and disk brakes up front, the vehicle stops fine.

i have 10" all the way around. i have no problems stopping. i can lock em up if need be with 31"x 10.5" tires on my 69-5

i had the pulling problem to the drivers side but put in a new wheel cyl on that side. turned front drums and put new shoes on both. cleaned all the parts. after bleeding both fronts, the break in and auto adjust. i don't seem to have the pulling problem now.
havent really gone through any deep water with it yet tho.
i plan to imitate mcruff and switch to disks in front and leave the 10's on the rear. when i get time and some other stuff done.

have the 10" on now. going to 11" due to diifficult time getting hardware for the 10" locally and the 11's look cooler.

I'm in the process of putting 11" on the front and will have 9's on the rear until I find 2 more backing plates. I also purchased a dual master cylinder from Herm's and that needs to be done also.
