I'm putting a new wiring harness in my '62 CJ5 and since I had the dash off I also removed the heater and did some refurbishing. I have three things that pass through grommets in the firewall (two bowden cables for heater controls and the speedo cable). Two grommets are gone and the third is in bad shape. The firewall holes are 7/8" and the grommet ID needs to be about 3/16". Anyone know of a source for these?

Go to Home Depot, Lowes, or any sizable harware store and head for the electrical isle.

I found all kinds of different shapes and sizes of grommets for my rig at Home Depot, all for less than $5.00 too

Do they have 1/4 inch thick grommets at home depot, fiberglass tub firewall is thick.

Thanks for the ideas so far but I have checked the type of sources suggested and all I have found are the "normal" type grommets. The ones for this application are unusual in that the hole in the middle is quite small compared to the OD of the grommet. They are actually more like a seal than a grommet (which is what they do). They won't make the Jeep run any better - just one of those details that bug me.
