I'm changing out my SW gages to Autometers. Problem is that my current Tach and Speedometer are 3 3/8" diameter. The autometers are 3-1/8'' Diameter. Any suggestions? I was thinking a round backing plate of some sort? Is there a specific application for this size problem? Don't want to make a new dash just for gages and my old ones are crap. The autometers are the cheapest ones for what I want.

    Thanks for any info!

You could just make a dash panel overlay for that area then weld it on or screw it on and paint to match, or contrast.

You could also make some rings that were 3 3/8" on the outside and 3 1/8" on the inside. Then weld them in place and smooth out the welds and paint to match.

Of course you might just try to see if the gauges will cover the hole before you do anything. Its only an 1/8" on each side.
