i've decided to make the dash for a 71' cj5 from raw stock aluminum, does anyone know the dimensions?

also, i'm doing the front rotor conversion on a D27 axle. i brought the hubs and rotors to my machinist and he needs to know if there is a space or is it a flush fit all around the area which both hub and rotor meet. i'm thinking flush/no space, but i can't find a picture to show the side view of the hub and rotor together.

as always, any help is greatly appreciated.

You are correct, flush fit with no space. You want to turn just enough material off the back side of each hub to get it to fit flat onto the rotor, but no more.

I found out the hard way BTW that the aftermarket replacement hubs from Omix-ADA are already machined this way from the factory, and are a bolt-on right out of the box.
