Can anyone tell me where to find 1 piece axle shafts for my 67 cj5 with a dana 44 rear. I have heard them mentioned in magazines but can't find them in any catalogs. The shafts are 19 spline. Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

best bet is finding a 30 spline flanged dana 44. next up would be an axle manufacturor and see if they could make new ones. $$$$$$$$$ involved either way.

Thanks for the info. My other thought was to go with a full floater kit from Warn but that is expensive also. My problem is that I keep bending the shaft just outside of the bearing.

I looked for semi-floater one piece axles for quite a while and never did find them. I eventually went with the Warn FF and a 30 spline Detroit locker. The early housings are also thinner than the later ones, if you are bending them outside the bearing you will likely start bending the housing next. Smething to consider when considering upgrading shafts.

Ive saw 2 on ebay and I think one here or on willys tech in the last year. I picked up a spare rear axel and I plan on carring a spare shor shaft with me.
