Oil Pressure Guage

I just bought a mechanical oil pressure guage for my 67 V6, where on the engine do I hook it up?

Should be able to hook it up to the same spot where the electrical sensor is at the oil filter/pump.

 

Where is it around the oil filter?

 

On my '71, it's located directly above the oil filter/ pump assy. I bought an adapter that allowed me to mount the pressure line for the gauge and the pressure switch to keep the idiot light functional.

 

Is it on the engine block?

 

It is on the block. It is the little black tube with the blue tape on it in this photo.
