I have recently purchaced a '62 CJ-5 with pto and three point hitch and am on the hunt for some very heavy rear springs.
The heavy duty springs I can find all seem to be 9 leaf but I seem to recall my M38-A1's having 13 leaf springs. Any ideas where I might find a new pair of 13's or a good pair of take outs? any other ideas?
the CJ has air shocks under it now and I have always considered that to be a band-aid for a bigger problem.
    Thanks
    Donnie

Walck's 4WD would be a good place to try. 610-852-3110

    Thanks Glenn,
Walcks only had the 9 leaf but I did find them in Texas at Rapco.
Found one of my Military Vehicle magazenes and they are a wealth of jeep parts folks in there.

Border Parts here in San Diego had some (13 and 11 leaf) a while ago. Shipping across the country would be a killer though.

Be sure to ask for John the owner if interested.

I made new hangers and used CJ-7 military wrap springs with the 11 pack.
