I'm just about to hook up the bellhousing to the engine but can't remember where the carrier spring was hooked. That's if I can find the spring (or it's Walck's again).

    Thanks for any help.

You're talking about the throughout bearing return spring, right? The one inside the bellhousing? It hooks to a tab w/ a hole through it on the face of the T-90 bearing retainer.

That's the one. I see there's a loop in the bearing "carrier" but I can't see where the other end of the spring is hooked to inside of the bellhousing. Maybe one of the thru bolts had a nut on the end and that's how the sping end was held?

Just took a picture of where the spring is supposed to be,

    Thanks,

You know what? I just saw it in the picture.:? The boss next to the shaft has a hole in the side.

I guess I'm not working with enough light or too many Lites :D :stout:

    Thanks for the reply,
    Rit

Is there a trick to holding the t-bearing fork inplace while installing the tranny/bell housing until I get the bell crank on? Maybe some way of holding the cable so everything doesn't drop inside :stout:
