Ground Problem

    On the V6 there is the ground that goes from the - negitive post on the battery to the bolt under the alternator. There is a short wire that goes from that goes from that same bolt to the frame. If the short wire is broken will that prevent me from starting the engine? :AMC: :JEEP:

    it's possible
    since the engine and trans case mounts are rubber
    a better idea is run that neg batt cable to the frame
    then run another ground from the engine block to the frame

    Good point, I am trying to make as close to the origional as possible. I will do both.
