MsBoyink and the kids kept saying how much taller SSDutch is than Dutch. I didn't think it was that much, until I compared these pics.

Keep in mind...Dutch has a 1" spring lift, and SSDutch has stock springs with a 1" shackle lift. Same wheels and tires.

Ignore the fenderflares - compare where the bottom of the tub lines up on the rear wheel:

Gives some idea just how bad the body was on Dutch.

There's a big difference in height. Hard to believe...

Speaking of the puddle, I can't drive speedy to anyone's house that has a concrete drive  I have a message into Herm right now. I'm solving that problem :D

I was under the impression that if there wasn't a puddle underneath that was a problem.

Yeah, Lee has had to come up with some interesting climbing techniques since I put the new springs on the flattie.

Looks like a good solid couple of inches difference. I'm curious now how much higher "Lizzy" (66 CJ6 T.P.) will be after we install the 2.5 inch BDS kit we picked up at Off Road Ent. today. I think we are starting out at about -2.0 on the stock springs!

Forgot to mention - My flattie ("Jezebel") is a "self-drainer", too. Makes changing oil and gear lube a breeze - just add, add, add, and never open the drain plugs! Seriously, I have kits for both the trans and transfer, but want to limit the down time, so we're waiting for next week, and our pre-hunting season engine rebuild. "Kill 2 birds with 1 stone".
