I did a seach but didn;t find what I was looking for.

Currently running BDS 2.5" springs and Skyjacker Hydro 7000's.

I am looking to the winter when I put the hardtop back on the Jeep. I was thinking of finding a stiffer shock to run on the back of the Jeep to help with the extra load of the hardtop. Thought of rs9000's in the back so I could adjust them, however swapping shocks is not a hard thing to do. RS9000's are a little pricey...would like to not spend quite that much if I don't have to.

Any suggestions? Helper springs? Coil-over springs for my current shocks? Any input would greatly be appreciated. Thanks-Tim

shock absorbers don't carry the load, just dampen the ride
    your springs carry the load
I would think helpers, or re-arching , or add a leaf would be the way to go here

Thanks Jim. Good point on the dampening, I didn't think about that. My springs are new and I haven't tried the top on it since I have installed the springs. Maybe all will be fine.

Anyone have suggestions of helper springs...source....just in case I want to go that direction?
