alrighty, i was driving back home on 316 tonight. for those of you who don't know what 316 is; it's a boring highway broken up by traffic lights with a speed limit of 65 between them. somewhere between the excitement of traffic light roulette i thought about setting the toe on my new saginaw setup. seeing as though i have a crossover steering now i don't necessarily have to make sure that the full weight is on the front axle do i?? i understand with the Ross setup the flex from the weight would cause the toe to change, bu now it is set right?

of course, i probably won't be setting it up with the frame on jackstands, but it's just something that i was wondering about.

    You're right - with a one-pc tie rod suspension flex won't change the toe-in.

Not sure if the wieght all needs to be there, but I think I'd still do it once the Jeep is all down on the ground pretty much driveable anyway...

Just did mine last Friday - some string, a couple legos, a tape measure, couple turns of the tie rod and we're good to go...;)
