I put an overflow bottle in mine, but only because it was squirtin' EG all over the inside of the new engine bay. Now that I know about the air pocket, I may free up that space for an air compressor or sumpthin'....

You'll see that it is plumbed from the neck of the radiator to the bottom hole of the overflow tank with the tube provided in the kit. I took the old overflow tube and used it on the top of the new tank to complete the system.

 

I lost a beagle to antifreeze.

Out in the Texas Hill Country, ranchers used to use anifreeze in food scraps as ther poison of choice (it was much cheaper then) to poison the packs of dogs that would run loose. I had an Australian Border Collie adopt me when I lived out there & she died from antifreeze also. As discerning as a dog's senses are, it's strange that they don't know it's poison.

I use it to get rid of the feral cats in the neighborhood. Shame I just can't trap & shoot them, but that's progress.

Well seasoned 95/140 Castrol gear lube is best served from a suction pump by gravity string drips in 10F weather. It's right up there with Ancient Age & Fleischman's Whiskey. NYUKK NYUKK.
