WE are gettin off the subject here :D

I think I will try airing them down some more and see what happens. Also need to figure out my wiring problem, headlights still flashing, but that's a different post :D

Think I'll air em down to 15 or so.

I like my 33X12.5X15's Remington Mud Brutes on 15X8 steel wheels on my '74 CJ5 w/re-arched & single military wrapped HD (10-spring stock front springs) @ 20 to 24 psi on the road. I run the Rancho 5000's (actually 3 Ranchos & (1) Monroe right now - long story) & a Rancho steering stabilizer. the Remingtons have very soft sidewalls. Their sister company makes a similar mud tire (I think it's Dunlop). They wear like iron.
GOOGLE Remington+Mud+Brute and see for yourself.
Tire manufacturers use their tire moulds until they absolutely need replacement, so there will be variations in dimensions among the same tire. I know a local tire company that sells the Mud Brutes for $4.00 less than everybody else, but no other tire dealer will even mount them because the belts are not deep enough in the sidewalls. There used to be special DOT marks for retreads and defective tires, I haven't kept up with it.
