    I installed the intermediate CJ5 sbc fenderwell headers on my Early CJ5 successfully after only minor massaging of the exhaust tube closest to the stock steering box. I heated the tube to cherry red then shaped it with a hammer. I imagine the fit will be better in some Jeeps and worse in others, given the variablity in motor mounts, especially if they are home made as mine are. Dave
