anyone know a good place to get lake pipes like an old corvette i have duels going all the way back.. but i have to replace it all anyway because fo bad rust and i would really like side pipes and maybe a set of hooker headers .and i was thinking on going with purple hornie header mount glass packs ..

You can run a fenderwell header and some header mufflers specifically designed for the CJ, but you don't have enough wheelbase for true Lakes Pipes

BTW- true Lakes Pipes are attached to a full exhaust system that runs a muffler, but the lakes pipes are capped off, so that when you run on the dry lakes, you can pull the caps off and run a fully open exhaust. Sometimes lakes pipes didn't have side pipes, and just had turnouts under the car with caps on them.

At $189 for something you are going to cut up, I would think it would be both cheaper and easier to get a couple of chrome turnouts and some heatshields and make your own.
