Fun, right?

We're not in the clear quite yet.

I got the new tie rods on, bolted the shocks back on, put the new bumpstops on, then went to attach the driveshaft.

I've had this little naggling voice for a few days ..."remember they used two different sizes of yokes on these axles" and I'd answer back...."nah...both Dutch and SSDutch were originally 4 cylinder Jeeps and only 2 years apart...should be the same."

Well...the voice was right. Hopefully not a big deal - the axle from Dutch has recently been rebuilt..so everything *should* come apart OK again. The SSDutch axle is the wildcard.

Other than that it's replacing a brake line, getting the speed bleeders exchanged for some to fit the 11" and getting the brakes flushed and bled...then by eye it looks like a toe-in setting will be needed afterall.

Good thing I'm self employed...I might give myself the rest of the week off....

 

Uh, actually MsBoyink and the kids are going camping with her family while I go to the Jeep show.. I do have to go down for a family reunion on Sunday though (insert smiley of your choice...)
