V6 Ignition

Is it an easy upgrade to install a electronic ignition? I don't want to deal with points! If so would my local parts place (Autozone, Napa) carry it.

Relatively, if you have the factory delco distributor, the one with the little window, you can get a pertronics ignitor which is electronic drop in unit for around $65-$80. You can also get an HEI distributor for a 1975 Buick v6 (oddfire), there is a little more work involved as you have to grind a little on the intake manifold and change the front intake bolt in this area, you can also buy a HEI from the junk yard, for this you can use either an oddfire unit or get an evenfire unit and convert the stator to oddfire and buy the oddfire control unit for less than $35. Someone else I'm sure will chime in with more details.
