Quick update before heading out on B-day activities.

This AM I got everything hooked back up, and was able to fire up SSDutch...started up almost immediately..;)

    But..

Replacing the body mounts brought up the Radiator enough that the fan is now just hitting the top of the bottom rad hose. Looks like I'll need to fudge the rad back down 3/4" or so....

Got some other things to button up before I can drive it...but good to hear it run again!

Funny...MsBoyink was all poised with the camera...but when I turned the key and hit the button that kicks the electric fuel pump on to "prime" the system....all I got was the relay clicking.

(Keep in mind the rollcage guys said they couldn't get 'er started when they brought it back...that's been bugging me for months.)

I sent MsBoyink back in the house and proceeded to trace 12V down to the pump, so pulled the pump. Gas came out of the lines on both sides... I quick hooked the pump straight to the battery and I'll be danged...that is the *quietest* electric fuel pump I've ever owned...it just shook a little and shot gas across the garage...;)

Hooked it all back up and SSDutch fired on the first try.

The rad/fan interference isn't bad - I can push on the rad and make it go away. No need for an electric fan, I should just be able to drill 4 holes about 1" down from where the rad is mounted and be good to go. It's a nice blue rigid aftermarket fan...

Not sure my gas gauge is going to work...gauge didn't change, but haven't put an ohmmeter on the wire to see what's what. I dumped about 3-4 gallons of gas in so should see it bump a little seems like.

DD Status is still someways off - need to get the FI installed, springs swapped over, other axles swapped in, driver's seat position tweaked, etc. Not really figuring on that till next spring - I want a good amount of shakedown time before relying on it at all.

We'll get vid when it moves from the garage under it's own power.
