    The only thing I'll farm out is the Machine work on the engine and the install of the OD. Other then that I will do most everything myself.

    I have done almost everything so far. Concerning Dondo's steering, if you are just replacing parts then that is simple enough. While you have the steering apart you can really check the knuckles, if they are at all loose then now is the time to fix that. Also check if there is excessive slop in the steering box. a 50 year old Ross is bound to have some.

    For the cost of parts you can have "acceptable" steering lots cheaper than the "high performance" "custom upgrade" steering. Which is way better than the origional.
    I still have the bell crank setup in mine. I can still keep it in my lane... most of the time.

    Get a pickle fork, and a BFH, you are gonna need it.
