I know, everythings worth what someone's willing to pay for it.

That being said, I figure since my jeep will NEVER see a winter again (never ever ever - period), the heater is somewhat superflous. What ballpark should I be looking for to price an entire heater assembly?

Also, what do I do with the hoses coming off the block? Just run a hose from one outlet to the other?

hehehe. Nope. But then, I'm not gonna be in MI much longer! :D

And when I AM somewhere with winter, Jeep is gonna stay indoors during it. I'll rent a storage unit if I don't have a garage for it.

I'm not putting this much work into saving it from rotting away to turn around and subject it to salt and grime again. She's paid her dues, Da Jeep is gonna live the good life from here on out.

FWIW there will still be times where you'll appreciate heat.

Mostly in the fall - those really pretty sunny days with top down, sometimes a bit cool and heater adds just enough. Or those days when the sun goes down.

SSDutch needs a heater...but no way I'll put a stock one in..;)

You sure???? I know where one can be had for cheap!! :D

I know what you're sayin, but considering I also have no plans for, oh, say, a top or doors, I really think I'm just gonna get my money out of the heater now before I start losing parts.

I may kick myself in 5 years, but I'll deal with that then. Aspirin's cheap.

Real sure - dubbed them "placebo heaters" a few years back..;)

Sides...I'll have steering and brakes in the way of where that wants to mount. Much easier time going aftermarket.

I left my heater out when I did my JEEP up and am now sure I'll be puttin one back in. I'll be able to get a couple more months of fun in and still keep it outta da salt. Gonna make my own 1/2 cab outta a full hardtop. Someday.
