Does anyone have experence with an axle that has the wheel bearing retaining nut that requires a spanner instead of a socket to remove.

My bearing are held in with a threaded spanner type nut. The keeper washer on the outside of the nut is held with a screw that screws into the bearing nut.

Also are the bearing suppose to have bearing grease or diff oil for lubricaton?

    Thank for any help.

sounds like the nut has been changed to me, but the the tux has it's own model # (CJ-5A). i use grease (should have fittings under axle.)
