What are the pros and cons of using either one? Which would you guys recommend for a dummy that's never done one of these conversions before? FYI: I plan on using all the steering components from a left hand drive DJ5 postal Jeep. My welding skills are OK, but I have a co-worker who is MUCH better.

I have the AA mount and the only thing I didn't like about it was that it welds to the top of the frame rail so then you don't have a flat surface anymore to mount anything else to. Like a winch mount. I boxed my frame and then cut out a little hole and welded the mount into the frame rail instead of on top of it. This made it so I didn't have to use their spud shaft kit...

I have the mount and all the small parts made by Mike Ruffin. I haven't done the conversion yet, but I must say his parts are top-notch. And about 1/4 the price of the AA kit.

    You won't be disappointed.

I'm about 3/4 of the way through my conversion, using a CJ box and a Commando mount. Found some nice, affordable u-joints for the shaft from Speedway Motors, and using a postal column & wheel.

Everything about the AA parts is great, except the price. I've seen Mike's stuff installed and it all looks to be quality work.

Thanks Guys!!!! ;) I am kind of particular to my setup, mainly cause I'm a tight butt and these parts were fairly easy for me to build.
Just so you can see what the setup looks like here is a picture of the front of my jeep, if you want or need more just yell. This picture was taken before I had the hoses made so what you see there is a bunch of junk hoses to keep it from leaking on my garage floor.
