How did you manage to brake it ?

 

My first ECJ5 had a cracked case......I wonder what the price is on one of those.

 

They said to call for a price.. have to wait ti'll I get home, spensive call from Holland.. Maybe someone closer to them can call? I dunno how I cracked mine, prolly about the same time I grenaded my second T-14..

Just called with overdrive $75 without overdrive $135. Think Ill pick up one also, its local for me so any body else needs info just pm me or wants something from them let me know and I can see if I can ship it.

 

I am gonna look into one when I get back in the US... 135 is a bit more than I expected but If it will keep me from cracking cases..

I know quite a few people who do some serious wheelin with D18's and I've never heard of anyone breakin a case. Seems like a waste of money to me.

 

Been there broke one and I have seen several crack in the same place, the narrow part of the casing between the face of the oil pan to the face of the PTO cover thingy.. I had mine welded and it held up but I was very easy on it. I have since gone to the dana 20 case with 18 guts so it may be a bit stronger than the one I had then. I am even considering making my own girdle, I have the technology (yeah I stole that from teh six million dollar man). I figure that will be my first project when I finally buy my plasma cutter..

So they make one that works with an OD? I wonder how they're doing that? Do you suppose it just fits around the pan?
