Just for the record the parts book numbers are A-10119 for the bearings & A-958 for the rear seal but if you take the old ones to any supply place they'll be able to match them, that's how I got new ones for my PTO & winch.

FYI here's a website of a rebuild on a ramsey that appears to be a close copy of your Spicer,

    http://www.willystech.com/wt/pto/ramseypt2f/ramseypt2f.htm

There's also some PTO related info on my website as well.

    Good luck,

    H.

    Thanks for the part numbers.
Taking the old bearings & seal to any of the local parts houses would be a waste of time. Those idiots cant find anything unless its in the computer or you have a part number.
Even then they will give you the wrong part half the time.

I actually meant a bearing supply place, my bad

I agree with you about most FLAPS type people, whenever I go into one I try to scope out the "oldtimer-who-knows-it-all" counter guy & position myself to get served by him :).
