won't go in 4 lo

    my 55 cj5 won't shift into 4 lo. it will go into 4 high but then not let me shift the hight low stick into low range. it will let me shift into lo range when the other stick is in two wheel drive. so then I have 2 lo but thats not any good for me. any ideas on what to do or trcks to get it into 4 lo.

    It will only go into Lo when you are in 4WD. Forward is 2WD, back is 4WD on the shifter.

    my single stick gets stuck once in awhile, i just coat the shift rods w/oil and tap the shifter lightly to free them up.
