i'd like to know what size lifts are in this group and tire size with that lift. spring or shackle lift or both. wheel base and tread width. and how it handles. just curious. want to compare it to the formula massachusettes (or however the heck you spell it) uses for the DOT.

any of you use wider than stock axles or offset wheels to widen the stance?

sparky, of course tj's count. but they are already more stable than ECJ's. :)

1" replacement rancho springs, 30x9.50 tires on 5.5" wide rims. This probably doesn't count as a lift?!

    2.5" Skyjacker Softride spring lift
.5" ConFer shackles in front, 1 1/4" ConFerrs in rear
    ~1.5" BL
    RS-9000 shocks
    33x12.5x15" BFG MTs on 15x10" AR767s

Ride quality varies with shock setting changes. Some tradeoff between softer ride and highway speed handling. With shocks set at mid-range (#3 on mine), I have no problem at 70-75 mph (straight line, of course) :D Softer settings seem to allow more body roll, makes control a bit more difficult. I like the softer setting for offroad.

Yup.. got an extra 2 " width on each side (4" total) with offset rims, more specifically these..( http://www.spidertrax.com/drivetrain_whl.htm )
and I have a skyjacker 2.5" with a 1" frame modification and about 2" extended shackles (1 "lift) in the rear and about 1.5" in the front for another 3/4" lift with about 3/4" body lift and my wheelbase is 83". I have 34 x 10.5 (33" actual height) swamper LTB's... Dunno about stability.. it's still in pieces..

4.5" lift Rubicon Express 2.5" wide springs. Total lift is around 5 inches. Wide track 30 front, narrow track 44 rear with spacers to make it wide track width. 35" GY MTRs. Wheel base is approximately 86.5"

Rides pretty good on the highway and works great off-road.

2.5" Skyjacker softride YJ Spring in back.

4plus Front shackle reversal with stock YJ springs and Rubicon Express 1.5" full length add-a-leaf in front.

    82" wheelbase

1.5" wheel spacers so 33X12.50 Thornbirds don't rub on wider front springs.

Rides 150% better then when I bought it

CJ6 - Stock height on tired springs (looking at new springs with mild lift). 31 inch BFG A/T's (borrowed from my Landcruiser while Jeep is in progress). Jeep handles OK up to around 40, but as I have no brakes yet, have to take the foot off the gas before we run out of space on the property!

    Yup,

    75 cj5
custom SOA with 2.5" RE wrangler springs
cut down cherokee coils and links out back
    94" wheelbase
    58" wide custom axles
    And it works good!

    BTW, I dig Billy's jeep!

    Kevo

Ps. Massachusets uses a formula for tread width and wheelbase to determine max safe lift height? I have no idea what my treadwidth is.
