Well I rebuilt the 1 barrle Carb on my V6 today and fixed my fuel loading up problem. I will never know for sure because I replaced the main fuel line from the gas tank and re/routed it also so it was away from the exsaust manifold. Carb looked good inside, no play on the throttle shafts but the accelertor pump was crumbling apart?? The diecast that holds the leather plunger had broke apart and some of it was laying in the bottom of the Pump Chamber. For some reason the metal just crumbled in my fingers and this may have been causeing my loading up problem once in a while? Replaced the plunger with the new one in the kit and went thru the rest of the carb. Idles better and accelerates smoother too. Not a bad $12.50 investment into the carb, whole project was $21.00 to re-do it all. I will add this to my list of money spent till it hits $6,000.00 then no more adding!! Getting real close now but well worth it! Mark
