Do you guys park your Jeeps inside a garage, in the living room or do you leave it outside year round? I want to build a detached garage strictly for my 5 but I can't seem to justify the 3X price that my jeep originally was. :(

And yes, the thought of moving my Z outside the current 1 car has crossed my mind. Help!

Since I have 40 acers I park it just about anywhere. Sometimes in the shop but that is a hassle to do so mainly outside. Mark

Just bought a portable garage built by these guys:
    http://www.clearspan.com/
The one I got is 10' wide x 8' high x 24' long. It's quite well made, and has a 15 year warranty on the canopy. One thing that a lot of people around here like about them is that they are "temporary," and not taxable like a stick built building. I actually bought this for storing all of the off season stuff in that is cluttering the garage, so I can actually work in there.

My Jeep is my daily driver. I have no garage or driveway so it sits on the street. Warm weather comes, the hard top comes off, use the the bikini w/1/2 doors until October when it is too cold (for the morning commut) then the hard top goes back on. No special treatment. ;)

At the moment, SSDutch has the entire garage. I needed space work on the rear end so moved it into the center.

Normally it lives in the garage next to the Rambler...and the DD sits outside.

But now we've setup our lawn chairs and couple small camp tables in the corner of the garage and are enjoying using the space as the "deck" we never had...typing this from the garage right now. It's supposed to get darn hot today so enjoying the coolness of the day.

Plan is to get SSDutch driveable, and sell off the Rambler. Two cars, two garage spaces...finally!

Uh, till the kids start driving anyway...;)

The Jeep stays on the street unless I'm working on it and then it goes in the garage. The Cobra gets the garage and the dd's get the street or driveway.

    LOL. Exactly.

We've got a two car garage that can hold one on a good day, most of the time everyone's parked outside. Back when everyone lived at home (and always had friends and SO's coming over), our yard looked like a parking lot.

Right now my Jeep is in the barn being dissassembled, when I get it back together I'm *hoping* to keep it enclosed at all times. When I'm in cold climates its gonna be stored for the winter - this thing ain't seeing salt again, period.

    No garage at all.

Well, the CJ-5 sits in Dad's barn right now until I figure a way to get it here. Then it'll sit outside next to the other two vehicles we own.

In NE the CJ-5 usually set inside. Willys Truck and TJ set outside, wife's Golf took the other parking spot inside.

my Jeep is my DD, and it parks in the garage. I figure the more sun I keep off the soft top, the better, and since I can't scrape the windows on it in the winter, it stays in the garage. My wife is a stay home mom, so she rarely needs to go anywhere early, and if she does, I scrape her windows before I go to work.....

I park most of my Jeeps (6) in my 20’x44’ garage, my wife’s car and my pickup project are in the two bay garage. I live on a cul-de-sac so the kids park on the island and drive way. In all we have 16 vehicles. I also have an overflow parking lot at my father in-laws house in Whitman (3).

Garage. I didn't spend nearly a year of free time to have it bake in the sun.....If the paint's gonna get wrecked, I'm the one that's gonna be doing it on a trail. :D

That and I'm paranoid about it/things off of it getting stolen. Or at least, I'm not real secure on how open it is, no matter how spartan it is.

Garage or 20x40 shop. The top lasts MUCH longer when out of the elements as much as possible.

I added a garage door to the formal living room we weren't using and just park it in there. See avatar pic.

Just kidding! When I first posted the pic, someone PM'd me asking if I had the jeep in my living room! That pic is at the previous owner's clean garage! I currently don't have a garage so it sits in the driveway. The wife and I are shopping now for an awning for the side of the house. My jeep is my DD now but if it is going to sit for any time, I'll put a cover on it.

My Jeep sit in the two car garage. The DD are out side along with the Jeep hard top. It's behind the garage. I would put the Monte in there but the doors are kind of hard too open. I need to frame in and install my free 8' roll up door I got a few weeks ago.
