I don't have good pics and I really don't have any info on it. But all I have to show up with is a pan of homemade cinnamon rolls, a loaf of jalapeno cheddar sourdough and bottle of sippin water and its mine.

Well, its home. No title but that's just fine. I don't know what motor it came with as there is a 318 Chrysler in it now, but it is a 4spd truck. It came from Montana about 20 years ago but was never registered here and never left the farm as it was used as their tool truck till about 10 years ago. according to the ser#3406B it was ordered as a 6600lb cab and chassis platform. So far, the worst rust is the hole in the eyebrow on the driver's side but I haven't been under it yet. For now, it is just going to ferment in the woods for a bit till I get my Jeepster done.

Cool. Rhino grille is '69 or older. A pic under the hood would be telling. A '62-65 230 truck would have a hydraulic clutch and Ross steering. With no fender badges, that seems likely. Later trucks with the 327 or 350 would have V8 badges ... could have been a '65-69 AMC 232 truck.

3406B 14041 is the complete Ser#. I only glanced under the hood, but I believe there were 2 brake reservoirs, and I can't remember what was in it for steering.

Two brake cylinders is a brake cylinder and a clutch cylinder. If correct, that's a '62-65 230 OHC truck. Hydraulic clutch ended along with the 230 OHC in mid65.

Lots of the 230 trucks and Wagoneers got converted to another engine in the '70s. They were cheap then because of the reputation of the 230.

VIN is consistent with a J300 4WD Gladiator truck with a 6600 GVWR. I believe the "cab&chassis" designation in the online tables does not necessarily mean it was delivered absent a bed. Maybe. The only alternative to 06 for a truck is 18 which I believe is a bare chassis, no cab. 14041 is consistent with the 230 OHC engine, which limits to '62-mid65.
